Big, New Army Enlistment Bonus for Guard Soldiers
6/1/06, Washington, DC—Courtesy of new Selected Reserve Incentive Program policy effective today, LTG Vaughn, Director, ARNG made the decision to maximize incentives in order to best assist the ARNG Recruiting and Retention Force.
Below are a few highlights of the Army Enlistment Bonus policy:
The Guard is now offering $20,000 Army signing bonus to Non-Prior Service members who enlist in one of the ARNG’s “Top 10” Critical MOS’s.
NGB has approved an additional 20 MOS's for each state/territory to
receive a $20,000 NPSEB.
Other NPSEBs are available in varying amounts based on whether or not the Soldier receives the Quick-Ship or Off-Peak Bonus. The total NPSEB cannot exceed $20,000.
The Enlisted Affiliation Bonus is increased to $20,000 for 6 years and $10,000 for 3 years. It is no longer calculated based on number of months Remaining MSO.
The Officer Affiliation/Accession Bonus is $10,000. (in accordance with NDAA FY06).
The payment schedule for the Re-enlistment/Extension Bonus is now Lump Sum rather than 50%-50%.
